Information on how to vote for City Council

When can I vote?
The General Election will take place on November 4, 2025. Ballots must be postmarked by 8 PM on Election Day.
You can also vote early by mail as soon as you receive your ballot. King County & Pierce County typically send ballots in the mail 18 days before Election Day.

where do I vote?
You can drop off ballots 24/7 at ballot drop boxes throughout the City, most notably at the Library or the Park & Ride. You can look up your ballot drop box locations at King County Elections Website.
How do i vote by mail?
All registered voters will receive a ballot in the mail. Fill it out, sign the envelope, and return it by mail (no postage needed!) or drop it in an official ballot drop box. Your ballot must be postmarked or dropped off by 8 PM on Election Day.
Is there a deadline to register to vote?
You can register to vote online or by mail up to 8 days before Election Day. After that, you can still register in person up to Election Day at a voting center. Check registration deadlines and how to register at VoteWA.gov.
